angiepants [one pocket at a time]

Hi, I'm a newly turned 22 year old long island lady whose living her second life in philly, home of squished pretzels and 'brotherly' love. I'm going to school for Physical Therapy and known to geek over anything anatomy or adaptive sports. My favorites are fruit, artsy things, and laying on the ground instead of actual chairs. This is my place of inspirations, thoughts, and daily occurences. Enjoy.

I carry my sony camera around in its leather pouch with me 96% of the time.

Continued Cooking Craze

because I’m going out of my mind with boredom:

  • Turkey Bacon and Egg Toast Cups
  • More Apple Pie Poptarts
  • Sweet Potato Frittata & a Cornmeal base
  • Baked Tortilla Bowls with Taco Salad
  • Acorn Squash & Sweet Potato Soup
  • Skirt Steak an Blood Mary Tomato Salad

there is not enough mouths to eat all the leftovers in the fridge.

Chokes & Tots

You know those people with whom you just easily mesh and feel like you’ve been secretly living similar lifestyles, but just miles apart?  The lady above is one of those amazing people.  We may have slightly different styles on certain things, but we have similar organizing, getting things done, bonding with family, childhood bonding, bringing out the creative, and getting overly excited about things apects shared.
The second highlight (to seeing this fabulous face) was learning how to both grill and then eat artichokes, making Grown Up Tater tots (to be redone and made with more prowess!), and enjoying the 17th floor open view of the Philly city.

Aaron McCargo, Jr. Big Daddy’s House, Food Network.
This man made gorgeous grilled chicken, creamy parm mashed potatoes, and for desert? Oh god. The most tongue tingling looking pudding with vanilla chips and I can’t even go on.  Of course I was running on the treadmill while watching didn’t help, but anyways..
Looking up recipes later, I discoverd he was the executive catering chef of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia (Philly home town trained, yeahhhh baby)
