Okay, that spells it out and makes it designed all nice-
But, that is really hard to mentally take in and live by.

my favorite food
I’m at a complete lost of thought with no paths meeting a dead end answer. There is no one thing I can identify as ‘the best’ and I feel like I’m lacking to define myself in some aspect.

Miss Katie ‘O, I’m sharing this with you specifically right now. (No excuses allowed about the Bacon-I have turkey bacon in stock.)
EAT
This is what going to another culture is all about. Just trust and try even though you may not completely understand what something is.
Dear Self,
Realize fullness. Don’t continue to eat until you are in pain. DO SOMETHING ELSE WITH YOUR TIME. Boredom shouldn’t result in constant eating. Get your homework done, call your mother back, go to the gym, or even do some arts n’ craft project.
Your mouth shouldn’t have to be busy prepping meals or chewing on something 24/7. Do you realize what a waste life it is if you don’t do anything else?
STOP FOCUSING EVERTYHING ON FOOD AND GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE.
went to the gym and just felt plain bloated and painful in a high activity class.
(And continue to feel so even after you think a warm shower would help. Eww and oww).
did you use use to have an ED, I think i remember you mentioning it once but you also put a lot of food on your blog? I sorry if this sounds rude, I don't mean it to be.
So I’ve neglected this because I was unsure it I even wanted to answer it or not. It’s fine to ask questions, but I think the only rude aspect it being anonymous because I am a strong believer in standing behind your words.
As for a couple of years ago, I’ve struggled with a lot of things (as do all people), and yes, one of the most obvious being body image and taking that out on my health. There should never be an automatic assumption to an Eating Disorder if a person is neglecting of everything food or obsessing over it. Both or neither can be present. Furthermore, its anxiety and depression that lies hidden behind the simple concept of ‘food.’
The reason there’s a lot of food on my blog? I have a passion for it. Whether or not that made me more prone to a disorder, I have no idea. I’m okay with not knowing. I take the strong ‘obsessive’ need to keep busy and organize and relate it into organization of shopping, reading, and cooking steps of a recipe.
Let’s spit it out straight: I work with food. A lot.
I’m constantly washing utensils, have recipes erupting out of cupboards, and wishlists filled with rolling pins, icing tips, standing mixers and more.
This is unusual for the college campus student who may think boiling water is their biggest accomplishment of their independence or simply has no problem spending many dollars on pre-made foods or on tips at a bar. For me, there’s something interesting about food. Every part of it. Where bought, who making with, the presentation, the enjoyment. It has a narration passed down through culture and family yet it’s also constantly new and evolving alongside the times.
Currently in my kitchen there’s creamy cucumber soup, sweet potato pineapple salad, Greek Pasta salad, and on the counter is a platter of banana peanut butter cupcakes. I’m on the path of making an organized collection cookbook of everything appetizers to drinks.
So please know if I share my eats with you, it’s an invitation to share something that exciting and enriching to me. It’s also something I used to control too much. Now, I’m okay with simply enjoying the scents with my oven and apron companions, but I’m learning to openly share it among friends and acquaintances.
