angiepants [one pocket at a time]

Hi, I'm a recently turned 24 year old Long Island raised lady who became a grown adult (aka: 6 years for undergrad and grad schooling) in Philly, home of squished pretzels and 'brotherly' love. I've traveled the east coast and even once to the Midwest for my rotations and am ready to finish my last one closer to home (Pennsylvania or New York). I'm on the track to finish my Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree and then take my licensure test.

I'm known to geek over anything anatomy or adaptive sports. You’ll find me stopping to pick flowers for my hair, living waist deep in my studies or spending the weekend cooking up a storm. My favorites are fruit, artsy things, wearing aprons and sprawling down on the ground instead of actual chairs. This is my place of inspirations, thoughts, and daily occurences. Enjoy.

This is Apartment 5’s Homemade Bucket List!
Over winter break, I asked the apt-mates to send me a couple of things they wanted to do before they died, and I put them all together in a DIY project.  Whenever you complete one, it gets thrown in the bucket.  I was the first to complete one, go to a Giants Game!
This was made with chicken fencing and wire cutters that came from my new toolbox.

On Things I pride myself on being:

Arts n’ Crafty.  Unfortunately, I’m at a time of my life where there is less time to put the homemade aspects of gift creating and the food preparing that I love to do, but it will always be a part of my persona.

Cute pumpkin-making idea to decorate your floor!

If midterms weren’t right after Halloween, these paper pieces would be #1 on my Arts and Crafts checklist.

Day 16 - What are your favorite things to do, when you aren’t in class or studying? (Sports games, parties, etc.?)

Top: Baking (Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, Strawberry Shortcake cookies, Peanut Butter Banana Cupcakes, it goes on).  Currently it’s be more cooking actual meals (still fun) this summer because I don’t have a meal plan and actually need to feed myself real food.

The Rest: Sightseeing and going to free/discounted events around Philly, arts n’ crafts, happy hours!, volunteering (at hospitals, the zoo, or for pediatric organizations)

DIY of the day!
(via The Creative Place: Tuesday Tutorial: Woven Paper Journal Cover)

If only I had time to keep journals, take better care of notebooks (rather than jamming them in a backpack to catch a class or shuttle), or had a place to keep a pile of beloved photo albums.
This would be the front to one of those.
